WWE Fastlane 2016 Betting Tips

I’m just going to say this once to get it out of my system – welcome to the WWE Fastlame betting tips. There – no more hilarious wordplay.

So it’s WWE Fastlane, headlined by a #1 contenders triple threat match of Reigns vs Ambrose vs Lesnar. We’ve also got a 2 out of 3 falls match with Alberto Del Rio vs Kalisto, and Kevin Owens facing Dolph Ziggler.

The odds are actually pretty brutal this time around with a lot of heavy favourites. Last year it wasn’t as heavily swayed as this and we went 2-1 for a profitable PPV. This year however it’s rather tricky. Let’s have a look at them:

WWE Fastlane Betting Odds:

  • Roman Reigns (-600) vs Dean Ambrose (+620) vs Brock Lesnar (+850)
  • Charlotte (-490) vs Brie Bella (+330)
  • Becky Lynch & Sasha Banks (-1500) vs Naomi & Tamina (+700)
  • Kevin Owens (-900) vs Dolph Ziggler (+500)
  • The Wyatt Family (-750) vs Ryback, Big Show & Kane (+450)
  • AJ Styles (-1050) vs Chris Jericho (+550)
  • Kalisto (-400) vs Alberto Del Rio (+280)

WWE Fastlane Betting Tips & Analysis:

Roman Reigns (-600) vs Dean Ambrose (+620) vs Brock Lesnar (+850): It really does seem like they are going all the way with Roman Reigns this year…just like last year. Last year everyone was trying to convince themselves that Daniel Bryan would win – but we knew that wouldn’t happen. This year it’s pretty much the same. However with it being Wrestlemania 32 – arguably the most important Wrestlemania in a long time – and a rather lacklustre card so far – could WWE throw out some surprises? Brock in the main event or the Dean/HHH tease at Rumble are both in our minds. It’s hard to see beyond Reigns but we do recommend betting the Field wins the Triple Threat against Reigns. +400 odds for that but we recommend just a quarter unit bet.

Charlotte (-490) vs Brie Bella (+330) I’ve tried to convince myself that WWE might give Brie the win due to Bryans retirement but that just isn’t going to happen. Charlotte to retain.

Becky Lynch & Sasha Banks (-1500) vs Naomi & Tamina (+700) This one really seems like a no contest. Often in the Divas matches there’s opportunities but I just can’t see it here especially with Sasha or Becky most likely winning the Divas title at Wrestlemania.

Kevin Owens (-900) vs Dolph Ziggler (+500): Owens will retain here. Ziggler is a joke.

The Wyatt Family (-750) vs Ryback, Big Show & Kane (+450): The scary thing here is that you could actually convince yourself on team Ryback winning purely due to how WWE like to put over Big Show/Kane. But surely not here. The Wyatts need the win and this would be a horrific decision. Wyatts to win.

AJ Styles (-1050) vs Chris Jericho (+550): I just can’t see this one carrying on to Wrestlemania. This is the third match and Styles should go over to move onto a new program just in time for Wrestlemania.

Kalisto (-400) vs Alberto Del Rio (+280): I’m not sure when Sin Cara is going to be back – but it’s possible Kalisto loses here if Sin Cara is back soon or that they have him lose here in a cheap way to build to Mania. Of course a lot of this is just trying to convince myself – and I’m going to bet quarter unit on Alberto Del Rio.

WWE Fastlane Betting Picks:

This is what I’m betting:

  1. Field vs Reigns – quarter unit
  2. Del Rio to win – quarter unit

That means I am betting 1/4 what I usually bet. Look – I’m betting for the sake of betting here. These aren’t “tips” this time around unfortunately. There’s been plenty of money to make on wrestling betting but this is one PPV where there is honestly nothing worth betting. Save your money.
