WWE Survivor Series 2013 Betting Tips

WWE Survivor Series 2013 comes our way from Boston, Massachusettes on November 24th. This hasn’t been the hottest Survivor Series build as we’ve seen in years past, but WWE tends to deliver when it comes to their original Big Four pay-per-views and this should turn out to be a pretty good show.

The show is headlined by the Big Show vs. Randy Orton for the World Heavyweight title and John Cena vs. Alberto Del Rio for the WWE title. Both title matches have seemingly obvious winners with John Cena being a shocking -2300 favorite and Randy Orton being a -900 favorite.

Many matches on the undercard also feature ridiculous odds as well. The Shield & Real Americans are -2750 favorites, Big E is a -2750 favorite and The Miz is a -900 favorite. Seriously, the Miz. Let’s take a look at the complete odds:

WWE Survivor Series Betting Odds:

  • The Miz (-900) vs Kofi Kingston (+500)
  • Shield & Real Americans (-2750) vs. Rhodes brothers, Rey Mysterio and the Usos (+1250)
  • Big E (-2750) vs. Curtis Axel (+1250)
  • Total Divas (-900) vs. True Divas (+500)
  • John Cena (-2300) vs. Alberto Del Rio (+1100)
  • Daniel Bryan & CM Punk (-260) vs. Luke Harper and Erick Rowan (+180)
  • Randy Orton (-900) vs. Big Show (+500)

5Dimes must be feeling the hurt of our successful picks because many of these odds feel almost like they don’t want us to bet on this show. Let’s get into the analysis and see if we can find any diamonds in the rough.

WWE Survivor Series Betting Tips & Analysis:

The Miz (-900) vs. Kofi Kingston (+500): The pre-show match could be an area for us to exploit. So often on the pre-show match the WWE books the good guy to win to get the crowd excited and into the show. The Miz, while protected, isn’t exactly John Cena and he can lose at any time and still be The Miz. Let’s take a shot here. Bet Kofi Kingston

Shield & Real Americans (-2750) vs. Rhodes brothers, Rey Mysterio and the Usos (+1250): On paper this seems like it should be a lot closer in the odds. The Shield are the true stars here, but everybody else is pretty close to the same level. The Rhodes brothers just beat the Shield for the tag titles just a couple of months ago. But this line stinks of the bookmakers knowing something we don’t know. Stay away.

Big E (-2750) vs. Curtis Axel (+1250): I’ve heard rumors that Big E is buddies with John Cena and John Cena would never let one of his friends lose his title to Curis Axel.

Total Divas (-900) vs. True Divas (+500): The cast of a TV show vs. AJ and a bunch of other female wrestlers. This match isn’t exactly setting up the females for success, but that’s not the point is it? The point seems to be to get footage for a TV show on E! This will do that.

John Cena (-2300) vs. Alberto Del Rio (+1100): This is where the internet would put a picture with the caption LOLCENAWINS.

Daniel Bryan & CM Punk (-260) vs. Luke Harper and Erick Rowan (+180): The odds aren’t very favorable, but I really like Daniel Bryan & CM Punk here. This is the Mega Powers vs. the Twin Towers for the modern era. It will seem like a match, but at the end of the day it’s two of the biggest stars in wrestling against two big guys. Always go with the superstars. Easy bet for Daniel Bryan & CM Punk.

Randy Orton (-900) vs. Big Show (+500): The only real argument I can make for betting on this one is to grab Randy Orton at -900 because I think it is going to close a lot higher than that.
