AEW & NJPW Bets: July 15th, 2019

I have to admit I really enjoyed WWE Extreme Rules last night.

I haven’t been enjoying WWE TV for awhile but I did think on paper, Extreme Rules could end up being a good show. I ended up thoroughly enjoying it.

One contrast between AEW and WWE I feel – and this can be a good or bad thing – is that WWE always leaves you wanting more. When AJ Styles vs Richochet wrestled for example – that would be at least 20 minutes longer in AEW or on a non-WWE promotion. And while it would be an incredible match – after the WWE match last night, I was left looking forward to the next time they wrestle.

Quite a few of the matches were like that.

There’s not too many WWE prop bets available currently however we’ve got some non WWE bets and futures available that I want to mention. I’ll also be doing AEW All Out Betting Tips closer to the time.

AEW Bets:

Currently the online sportsbook 888 Sports has the following AEW Bets available:

Will CM Punk Show Up At All Out 2019? “Yes” is +350 and “No” is -625. Honestly I do think we will see CM Punk in AEW at some point but I think that’s something where they would save him for TV. Not a real bridgejumper bet fan but that’s a decent one.

Lucha Brothers vs Young Bucks: This is a ladder match at All Out 2019. Lucha Brothers are the slight favourites at -139. Personally from the way booking has been going at the moment, I think the Young Bucks at +100 are a good deal. You can also bet on Dave Meltzers star rating with under 4.75 stars the favourite at -125.

Chris Jericho vs Hangman Page: You can bet page at +190 odds or Jericho at -278. I really can’t see past Jericho there so not worth the bet. I like the Over 4 Stars however for -112 odds. Page is someone who Meltzer is really into and Jericho knows how to construct a great match.

Jon Moxley vs Kenny Omega: Another one from All Out 2019. Moxley is +110 odds and I like that price for him. He’s one of the most recognizable stars and while Omega has already lost against Jericho, I think AEW want to keep Mox strong going into the TV show.

Next WWE Star to AEW: You can do a prop bet of who will be next to join AEW prior to January 1st, 2022. You can bet on the likes of The Revival, Shinsuke Nakamura, Sasha Banks, Luke Harper and more. As far as I know, Luke Harpers contract is up late 2019 so he might be the best bet at +450. I’d advise a 1u bet on that regardless of the fact that WWE extended his contract.

NJPW Bets:

888 Sports also has a lot of NJPW Betting Odds available.

I won’t go over them all however there are numerous NJPW G1 individual bets such as Will Ospreay vs Zack Sabre Jr. and Kazuchika Okada vs KENTA.

You can also bet on who will be the tournament winner of Block A. Kota Ibushi is the favourite currently at -167 odds.

They also offer over/under Block A wins on Hiroshi Tanhashi, Kazuchika Okada and Kota Ibushi.
