There has been no post-WrestleMania lull for WWE, and the biggest professional wrestling company on the planet continues to motor toward a stacked summer schedule. At the recent Backlash pay-per-view, John Cena successfully retained the Undisputed WWE Championship against Randy Orton in the challenger’s hometown of St. Louis, albeit with an overbooked finish that weirdly featured an assist from R-Truth. Now, further blockbuster events loom on the horizon.
Between now and SummerSlam in August, there are no fewer than four Premium Live Events. Two of those will be Saturday Night’s Main Event, with one scheduled for the end of May and another for mid-July. Then, there is the King and Queen of the Ring in Saudi Arabia and perhaps the biggest of them all, Money in the Bank. The latter of those events has become one of WWE’s biggest draws in recent years, and many consider it to be arguably the biggest PLE outside of the traditional ‘Big Four.’
This year, MITB will be hosted at the state-of-the-art Intuit Dome in Los Angeles, California, the site of the first ever Monday Night Raw on Netflix back in January and home of the NBA’s Clippers. The event will be headlined by the multi-man Money in the Bank Ladder match, with the winner receiving a briefcase with a guaranteed world title shot that can be cashed in at any time and in any place.
But who do the bookies consider the favorites to win the match this year? Let’s find out.
On the Raw after WrestleMania, Bron Breakker shocked the world as he obliterated both Roman Reigns and CM Punk, aligning himself with Seth Rollins and Paul Heyman in the process.
Online live betting sites clearly think that could be a masterstroke for the young stud’s career, and he may well be in line to win the Money in the Bank briefcase in the City of Angels. Fans are eagerly awaiting the release of Bovada’s live betting odds, with the betting giant opting to see how the next few episodes of Raw and SmackDown play out first – but either way, Breakker is expected to be the odds-on favorite once they are released.
Should the former NXT Champion live up to the billing and leave the Intuit Dome with the briefcase in hand, it would surely represent the biggest victory of his fledgling career. It would certainly bolster WWE’s newest heel faction, allowing leader Seth Rollins to pursue either world championship with his understudy waiting in the wings with a guaranteed title shot.
Ever since Logan Paul debuted as a legitimate superstar, he has been destined for big things. Sensational championship matches against both Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes proved that he certainly has the talent, while no one garners more hate than the Maverick with the microphone in hand. Still, he remains without a statement victory, despite being a fully fledged member of the roster for three years.

Both last year and the year before, the YouTube sensation was a favorite to win the Money in the Bank ladder match. 2025 will be no different, and the bookies will surely make him a contender once again, perhaps pricing him narrowly behind the aforementioned Breakker at around even money. The 30-year-old already has a World Heavyweight Title shot against Jey Uso looming on the horizon, but with the Yeet-Master already seemingly on a collision course with former champion Gunther, it seems quite likely that the reigning champion will retain their title.
That would potentially open the door for a Logan Paul victory in Los Angeles. There can be no denying that the briefcase would garner more attention than ever if it were in the Maverick’s hands, much like the United States championship did when it belonged to the Ohio native. The gold was front and center on Paul’s Impaulsive Podcast, and he took it with him for every media appearance he had.
Him doing the same with the briefcase would certainly be beneficial to WWE, but it remains to be seen whether the company will finally pull the trigger and push their megastar to another stratosphere.
Karrion Kross once ruled over NXT with an iron fist, beating the likes of Finn Balor, Adam Cole, Samoa Joe, and Johnny Gargano throughout a ruthless title reign. However, since making the step up to the main roster, he has been an afterthought. From his ridiculous debut wearing a helmet to his release and then his subsequent return, the former NXT Champion has been unable to gain a foothold on either Raw or SmackDown.
But in recent weeks, something has changed. Cutting somewhat creepy promos and appearing as a devil on the shoulder to the likes of AJ Styles, Sami Zayn, and even interviewer Cathy Kelley, fans have begun to take a liking to Kross. Week after week, his reaction from the live crowd is getting bigger, while he is also making waves on social media. The WWE writing team still refuses to give the 39-year-old a spotlight on either of their flagship shows, but that is only bolstering support from those who wish to see Kross succeed.
It would be a huge upset if he won the Money in the Bank briefcase, but the man formerly known as Killer is currently considered the best of the rest outside of the two frontrunners. If reactions to his work continue growing, perhaps WWE will have no choice but to hand Kross the biggest victory of his career to date.
