NJPW G1 2021: Night 5 & 6 Betting Tips

Night 5 of the NJPW G1 Climax 31 takes place on Sunday, September 26th.

We’ve then got a few days until the G1 takes place on September 29th for Night 6.

In this post I will cover Night 5 Betting Tips right now, and list the odds for Night 6.

I haven’t watched Night 4 yet so I will watch that today or tomorrow hopefully and then edit in the betting tips following that.

NJPW G1 Climax Night 5 Betting Odds & Tips

• Great O-Khan (-278) vs Yujiro Takahasi (+190)
• Toru Yano (-200) vs Tango Loa (+140)
• Tomohiro Ishii (-106) vs KENTA (-134)
• Kota Ibushi (-162) vs Zack Sabre Jr. (+115)

Man I really want to back Takahashi here. Love what he has been doing so far and is looking great. But it’s hard to back against O-Khan who they are building strong. Strong lean on Takahashi but can’t bring myself to do it.

Ishii is yet to win a match in the G1. So I guess he is going to be the slow start? He has a perfect singles record of 2-0 over KENTA, who is 1-1. Do they pull the trigger on Ishii here or wait? I’m not sure and going to stay away but I lean Ishii.

Think Yano takes this one.

I backed Zack Sabre Jr. last time as I felt it was time to push him. A win over Ibushi here would be huge although I wonder if they are mixing things up. I believe Ibushi would have started slow but the Naito injury changed it all. 1/4u on ZSJ.
