NJPW Night 14 & 15 Betting Odds & Tips

Unfortunately, the online sportsbooks didn’t put up any odds for Night 13 of the NJPW G1.

This really sucks as I had said I was going to be looking to back dogs against ZSJ and I expect KENTA would have been a dog. I knew the loss was coming but oh well it is what it is.

We’ve got three nights in a row of NJPW action now. I will cover Nights 14 and 15 in this post.

NJPW G1 Night 14 Odds & Tips:

• Taichi (-500) vs Tama Tonga (+300)
• SANADA (-345) vs Yoshi-Hashi (+225)
• Kazuchika Okada (-1430) vs Chase Owens (+600)
• EVIL (-400) vs Hirooki Goto (+250)
• Jeff Cobb (-278) vs Hiroshi Tanahashi (+190)

My hope is that Cobb and Okada win outright until their meeting on the final night. Tanahashi is eliminated at this point. It’s only those two or EVIL that can win. I could see Gedo pulling off an upset. If he was to do one I’d say Tanahashi over Cobb although at +600, Owens is tempting. Nothing there for me though.

I guess for SANADA vs Yoshi-Hashi, the result doesn’t really matter and either could win. Feels like they will want to rehab SANADA with a couple of wins though.

NJPW G1 Night 15 Odds & Tips:

• Tomohiro Ishii (-400) vs Yujiro Takahashi (+250)
• KENTA (-770) vs Tanga Loa (+400)
• Zack Sabre Jr. (-400) vs Toru Yano (+250)
• Shingo Takagi (-625) vs Great-O-Khan (+350)

Unfortunately I feel like all four favourites win here. This will lead to Takagi, Ibushi, ZSJ and KENTA all be ing on the same points level going into the final night.
