NXT Takeover: In Your House Betting Tips

NXT Takeover: In Your House takes place on Sunday, June 7th.

If eatures the Velveteen Dream vs Adam Cole for the NXT Championship. This is a backyard brawl match and if Velveteen loses, he doesn’t get any more title shots against Adam Cole.

We have a triple threat match for the Womens Championship, and Keith lee versus Johnny Gargano which should be good.

This has all the vibes as the type of show where heels go over so it’s going to be interesting to see if that’s the case.

Before we do anyhing else let’s cover where to bet NXT Takeover and then look at the odds before breaking down the card.

NXT Takeover: IYH Betting Tips:

NXT Championship: This is a backlot brawl between Cole and Velveteen. Now let’s be honest – with everything going on in the world right now, a black man should win a match here. That’s just the way things go. Similar to the coronavirus affecting Wrestlemania – the majority of the faces won. And while I can’t say for sure – I wouldn’t say it was the biggest coincidence in the world that Hikaru Shida won the title on Double or Nothing following the death of Hana Kimura. If anything that just made it a more emotional moment too. I know I found myself rooting for her.

However Velveteen had his….issues…recently in regard to the stuff on Instagram. That’s kind of been swept under the rug however I can’t see him winning here. Generally when someone has this stipulation attached to it as well, it means they are going to lose. It’s more interesting if the guy can’t challenge for the title. Plus it’s a cinematic match I believe and I think it would be horrendous for the title to be changed on something like that. I’ll go with 1u on Adam Cole to win.

NXT North American Championship: Johnny Gargana is a pretty decent favourite over Keith Lee here. Gargano is awesome as a heel but I also think Lee shouldn’t lose the title for a bit. In saying that they could be going the Lee/Cole route. Honestly? I think Gargano wins here but I’m not going to bet against two black guys on the same show.

NXT Women’s Championship: The Charlotte deal is an interesting one. A lot of people on the internet hate her in NXT and feel she brings the show down but she means something in

the ratings. Of course her losing might make things interesting if she sticks around. It’s a Triple Threat match so she could also lose the match without being pinned. I don’t think I can bet against Charlotte here. I’m going to go with 1/4u on Charlotte to win.

Kross vs Ciampa: Surely Kross wins here. Ciampa winning would be a massive upset and I just don’t think I can back it.

Finn Balor vs Damien Priest: This is one where honestly I just decided to bet on the underdog and that happens to be Priest. I expect Finn will take it becaues there are too many heels winning on this show but hey I’m fine at those odds with 1/4u on Priest.
