NXT Takeover: Stand & Deliver Betting Tips

NXT Takeover: Stand & Deliver will take place this Wednesday and Thursday night.

This will be the last Wednesday (and bonus Thursday) NXT after they lost the Wednesday Night Wars. Personally I am really excited about the change; I’ll be able to watch NXT live again and it will allow AEW to prosper which is good for all wrestling companies. Hell it will mean more eyes on NXT which is good.

We’ve got one match we aren’t sure the odds for – Gargano vs the Gauntlet Eliminator Winner.

I will throw an edit at the end of this post on Thursday morning once I see the odds, letting you know if there is anything worth betting there or not.

Speaking of let’s look at the odds:

NXT Takeover Stand and Deliver Betting Odds:

  • MSK (-167) vs Grizzled Young Veterans (+130) vs El Legado del Fantasma (+750)
  • WALTER (-1000) vs Tommaso Ciampa (+500)
  • Raquel Gonzalez (-230) vs Io Shirai (+160)
  • Dexter Lumis (-230) vs LA Knight (+275) vs Bronson Reed (+400) vs Cameron Grimes (+500) vs Leon Ruff (+1300) vs Isaiah “Swerve” Scott (+3300)
  • Pete Dunne (-230) vs Kushida (+160)
  • Kyle O’Reilly (-250) vs Adam Cole (+175)

NXT Takeover Stand & Deliver Betting Tips:

MSK vs GYV vs El Legado: I really like Grizzled Young Veterans and want them to win the titles but I can’t see it. I think it’s babyface win time here. The odds aren’t that bad actually. 1/2u on MSK to win

WALTER vs Ciampa: Can’t see the big man losing. No bet due to the odds.

Raquel Gonzalez vs Io Shirai: I mean is there anyone left for Shirai after this? I can’t see it and feels like Gonzalez has to get the win here. At those odds it’s not worth the risk though.

Guantlet Match: I think they have the correct favourite here. Dexter Lumis to win. Looking at everyone else the only one I think it could be is Cameron Grimes. I guess I could see some argument for Reed. If you want an underdog bet go with Grimes or Reed (I’d lean Grimes) and I will probably chuck 1/4u on Grimes myself just for the hell of it. But Lumis should win.

Pete Dunne vs Kushida: Both these guys are at the top of their game right now so it should be a good one. I think Dunne will win and no bet for me. I don’t hate a bet on Kushida though.

Kyle O’Reilly vs Adam Cole: I was surprised to see Cole as the underdog. I mean when you look to the future you have to think O’Reilly wins while moving into championship territory and Cole gets the call up. I expect that is the case but they like to change things up in that regard and I could see one further match between the two. I really want to back Cole here but I would only do so if he was +200 or above.

Karrion Kross vs Finn Balor: Seems obvious they are going back to Kross.

Santos Escobar vs Jordan Devlin: An intriguing one and I figure there is no real point in bringing him up from NXT UK with the title for him to lose. 1/2u on Devlin.

Johnny Gargano To Retain: I am betting 1u on Yes at +100.

Ember Moon/Shotzi vs The Way: Tag titles shouldn’t change here. 1/2u on Moon & Shotzi.
