WWE Clash of the Champions 2019 Tips

This Sunday is WWE Clash of Champions.

You have to wonder if there will be anything notable on this PPV or not. With NXT debuting very soon and Smackdown on Fox just around the corner, you’ve got to wonder if they are saving everything for that or not. Makes for interesting thinking during the betting analysis.

There is of course about 600 title belts on the line for this card. Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman will be playing double duty with them defending the tag team championships and also fighting against each other.

Kofi Kingston looks to defend against Randy Orton and Roman Reigns takes on Erick Rowan in the only non title match.

  • AJ Styles (-265) vs Cedric Alexander (+180)
  • Seth Rollins (-455) vs Braun Strowman (+275)
  • Kofi Kingston (-148) vs Randy Orton (+105)

now let’s get onto the tips:

WWE Clash of Champions 2019 Tips:

Drew Gulak (-177) vs Humberto Carrillo (+150) vs Lince Dorado (+600): Can’t see Gulak losing. -177 isn’t exactly odds I like but I think it’s worth a bet as he has to be retain here. 1u on Gulak to win.

Bliss/Cross (-295) vs Rose/Deville (+200): Hard to see anything but a Bliss/Cross win here. I’m always tempted to bet underdogs at these odds in matches involving the women but it seems like Bliss and Cross winning is what will happen.

Shinsuke Nakamura (-177) vs The Miz (+125): The Miz is one of the best guys you can bet in wrestling. With Fox coming up, I could see them preferring him to have the title. He’s just more network friendly. Worth a small bet. 1/4u on The Miz to win.

Dolph Ziggler/Robert Roode (-230) vs Seth Rollins/Braun Strowman (+160): Ziggler and Roode are such a non-entity that it seems so weird for them to win here. It also seems likely. However I think there is enough of a chance that Rollins and Strowman win and continue this storyline. 1/4u bet on Rollins/Strowman.

Sasha Banks (-150) vs Becky Lynch (+108): With Becky on the cover with Sports Illustrated I think she is worth a bet here to retain. Sasha really should take it though. However that’s more the mark in me thinking when it comes to Sasha. Becky winning is best for business. 1/2u on Becky Lynch to win.

Roman Reigns (-265) vs Erick Rowan (+180): I mean yeah Reigns did the job recently to Shane so he isn’t invincible on shows. Then there’s all the rumours that Bryan interferes or ends up being the one behind the attack. However it’s hard to take money and actually bet on Erick freaking Rowan to beat Roman Reigns ya know? Can’t do it.

The New Day (-230) vs The Revival (+160): Revival really just seem like placeholders don’t they? Can’t see them winning here.

Bayley (-134) vs Charlotte (-106): I’ve got to bet Charlotte here. I’ve learned never to bet against her and I can see her being the champion going into the Fox shows. In saying that it’s possible they SAVE the title change for then. Either way I think Charlotte is just enough of a good bet to risk 1/4u on her. I do think she might end up winning it on the first Fox show instead though.

AJ Styles (-265) vs Cedric Alexander (+180): Heyman loves Cedric Alexanader and is giving him that slow push. I don’t think he wins the title here but I could see a DQ win. Man very tempting to bet Cedric here. I’m not going to though.

Seth Rollins (-455) vs Braun Strowman (+275): Can’t see Seth losing. No bet.

Kofi Kingston (-148) vs Randy Orton (+105): Orton as champion going into the FOX shows make sense. A lot of things add up to Orton winning here. I don’t know if he does however I’d say based on everything, including Kofis reign, he has about 60-65% chance of winning here. Based on that, it’s an easy 1/4u value bet.
