WWE Money In The Bank 2013 Betting Tips

One of the most exciting WWE events of the year is the Money In The Bank which is coming our way from Philadelphia, PA this Sunday. The winners of the Money in the Bank briefcases are pretty much guaranteed future title runs and runs at the top of the card. It is the show where WWE tells everyone who the future stars are going to be (or at least, could be). It’s a great show and this year’s looks like no exception.

The main event is the ladder matches, but there is also a WWE title match pitting John Cena against Mark Henry after a masterfully done fake-retirement by Mark Henry. It was some of the best work of his career, but it will probably end up being for naught as he faces John Cena aka the biggest favorite in WWE history.
The real story of this show is the ladder matches. There are favorites and there are underdogs, but the truth is anyone could win. That’s what makes this event so exciting: The unknown.

Money In The Bank Betting Tips & Analysis:

As you can see the undercard isn’t offering us a lot to work with, but let’s take a closer look and see if we can find some value with our analysis.

The Shield (-5000) vs The Usos (+1200): The Shield is slowly turning into the Undertaker at Wrestlemania: unstoppable. The Usos will put up a good fight here, but they’ll be no match for the Shield’s winning ways.

AJ Lee (-1000) vs Kaitlyn (+550): AJ is absolutely carrying the Divas division right now and she is a much better wrestler than Kaitlyn so I can’t imagine her losing here. Skip it.

Ryback (-1400) vs Chris Jericho (+700): A few months ago Ryback was one of WWE’s rising stars and then… he ran into John Cena. He desperately needs a win here to reestablish himself in the WWE’s upper echelon and Chris Jericho doesn’t seem to have a problem giving it to him. Next.
Curtis Axel (-500) vs The Miz (+1200): I will never understand what Paul Heyman sees in Curtis Axel, but I really don’t see him losing the title here. The mystique of the Paul Heyman guy needs to be kept up, even if Axel stinks.

Alberto Del Rio (-900) vs Dolph Ziggler (+500): This is a tough one. Logic would say that this is time for the good guy to get his title back, but backstage stuff is getting in the way of that logic. Is Dolph finally healthy? Will WWE give him another shot? I want to say yes, but my heart is saying no.

John Cena (-900) vs Mark Henry (+500): John Cena beat THE ROCK. Do you really think he’s losing to the other guy in Nation of Domination? Didn’t think so. Bet Cena if you have the money to do so.

MITB: Damien Sandow (-185) vs Wade Barrett (+275) vs Antonio Cesaro (+900) vs Dean Ambrose (+1000) vs Cody Rhodes (+2000) vs Fandango (+2500) vs Jack Swagger (+4000): Finally, something I can sink my teeth into. This match is an interesting one because it’s for the less desirable World Heavyweight title which means that the winner could be more of a wild card. Like Daniel Bryan was two years ago or Dolph Ziggler was last year. I find Sandow to be a surprising favorite here because I can’t remember the last match he won and Wade Barrett has been floundering for months. To me, there are only two real candidates to win this one: Dean Ambrose and Antonio Cesaro. They both have that Philly independent wrestling cred that the crowd will eat up and they both are ready for a bigger spotlight. As much as I like Ambrose, I think he has his hands full with the Shield so I’m going with the bigger underdog. Bet on Antonio Cesaro.

MITB: Randy Orton (-275) vs Daniel Bryan (+275) vs CM Punk (+1600) vs Rob Van Dam (+1600) vs Sheamus (+1600) vs Christian (+5000): The past few months have been built up like this is Daniel Bryan’s match to lose. He has been fighting and clawing to prove himself at the top of the card and nothing would solidify that climb like a big win here. Daniel Bryan is ready for prime time. Bet Daniel Bryan.
