WWE TLC 2018 Betting Tips

The last big WWE PPV show of the year takes place this Sunday and it is one of the most stacked cards of the year. There are some really great potential matches here and this has the possibility of being one of the best shows of the year for the company.

The top matches on the shows have to be the triple-threat TLC match between Asuka, Charlotte Flair, and ‘The Man’ Becky Lynch; Dean Ambrose vs. Seth Rollins in the battle of the Shield; and Daniel Bryan vs. AJ Styles for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

The most interesting of the big matches has to be that TLC match. Not only is it the first women’s TLC match, it is quite likely the main event of this show. There is no one hotter in the business right now than Becky Lynch and another show stealing performance could be on it’s way. Plus, with Wrestlemania not too far out, it’s not too crazy to think that one of these women in the match will be Ronda Rousey’s opponent at Wrestlemania: another potential main event.

Let’s check out the odds for this stacked show.

WWE Tables, Ladders & Chairs Betting Odds:

  • Fabulous Truth (-335) vs Mahalicia (+245)
  • Drew McIntyre (-565) vs Finn Balor (+375)
  • Ladder Match: Bobby Lashley (-155) vs Elias (+115)
  • Tables Match: Natalya (-395) vs Ruby Riot (+275)
  • Buddy Murphy (-190) vs Cedric Alexander (+150)
  • Chairs Match: Randy Orton (-150) vs Rey Mysterio (+150)
  • The Bar (-110) vs The Usos (+200) vs The New Day (+230)
  • Ronda Rousey (-1050) vs Nia Jax (+550)
  • TLC Match: Braun Strowman (-410) vs Baron Corbin (+290)
  • Dean Ambrose (-215) vs Seth Rollins (+165)
  • Daniel Bryan (-390) vs AJ Styles (+270)

WWE TLC Betting Tips & Analysis:

Fabulous Truth (-335) vs Mahalicia (+245): This is the finals of the Mixed Match Challenge with the winner getting the 30th spot in the Royal Rumble and a vacation. Seems like R-Truth and Carmella are winning this thing, just for the comedy aspect of the trip. Odds aren’t worth a bet.

Drew McIntyre (-565) vs Finn Balor (+375): If Finn Balor doesn’t pull out the Demon for this one, he’s not winning. Drew McIntyre is in the middle of the monster push right now and the odds reflect that. No value here.

Ladder Match: Bobby Lashley (-155) vs Elias (+115): At the top of the ladder will be a guitar that you can then use in the match. This is definitely a weird one to handicap as both of these guys feel kind of directionless right now. Elias definitely has the brighter future though and I’ll go with him. 1/4u on Elias.

Tables Match: Natalya (-395) vs Ruby Riot (+275): The build for tis match has been groan worthy as they have brought Natalya’s dead father Jim Neidhart into the story. That would seem to point to Natalya winning this one, but WWE seemingly hates doing the obvious thing. Plus, a tables match is the easiest match for a heel to win. I don’t like it, but I’m doing a 1/4u on Ruby Riot.

Buddy Murphy (-190) vs Cedric Alexander (+150): This is an interesting one as you’d think that Cedric Alexander might get his win back, but Buddy Murphy is really doing some good things with the title. 205 Live title is pretty protected as far as title changes go and I’m not sure I see a title change here. Just going to skip this one.

Chairs Match: Randy Orton (-150) vs Rey Mysterio (+150): What even is a chairs match? First one to sit down wins? I feel like Randy Orton as the legend killer is going somewhere and this isn’t where it ends. 1/2u on Randy Orton.

The Bar (-110) vs The Usos (+200) vs The New Day (+230): This might be the most wide-open match on the show and could very well steal the show. I could see any team winning this thing, but it feels like The Bar are just getting started with this title reign and it will go on a bit longer. 1/2u on The Bar.

Ronda Rousey (-1050) vs Nia Jax (+550): Ronda wins. Next.

TLC Match: Braun Strowman (-410) vs Baron Corbin (+290): We don’t even know if this is happening and if it does, the big guy is definitely winning.

Dean Ambrose (-215) vs Seth Rollins (+165): It’s interesting to me that there is no stipulation or anything attached to this one. There are rumors that Seth Rollins is facing Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania and if that’s the case, I have a hard time seeing him lose here. The lack of stipulation makes me think this story is continuing into next month so there is no rush in doing a title change here. Bet 1/2u on Seth Rollins

Daniel Bryan (-390) vs AJ Styles (+270): Bryan’s reign is just getting started here and this doesn’t feel like the spot to make a switch. Don’t like these odds.

TLC Match: Charlotte Flair (-110) vs Becky Lynch (+190) vs. Asuka (+215): This is going to be one heck of a match. Becky Lynch is the hottest star in the company right now, but that sort of works against her in this match. Having the Smackdown title when Ronda Rousey is on Raw doesn’t really set the two up naturally. The best story for those two (or Charlotte vs. Ronda) is for them to be in the Women’s Royal Rumble and to win it, making the challenge from there. I think that makes a lot of sense and will be taking Asuka here. She should’ve won this title 8 months ago anyways. Bet 1u on Asuka.

WWE TLC Betting Picks:

  1. 1/4 unit on Elias +115
  2. 1/4 unit on Ruby Riot +275
  3. 1/2 unit on Randy Orton -150
  4. 1/2 unit on The Bar -110
  5. 1/2 unit on Seth Rollins +165
  6. 1 full unit on Asuka +210
