WWE Summerslam 2023 Betting Tips

WWE Summerslam 2023 will take place this Saturday night.

The main event features the Slim Jim Summerslam Battle Royal! I mean come on that has to go last right? Are we going to see all the L.A. Knight fans disappointed yet again?

We also have Roman Reigns in a Trible Combat match against Jey Uso. Seth Rollins defends his title against Finn Balor, and we see Cody Rhodes vs Brock Lesnar.

Summerslam is not a PPV known for betting upsets.

I should note BetOnline has prop bets such as Big E or Bray Wyatt to appear during the show, as well as props related to Randy Orton and the MITB briefcase.

Have to assume Cody wins and that ends this feud. Although it’s Brock so you just never know. But that’s the story and hey he always finishes his stories.

With Ronda apparently leaving WWE, then Shayna winning seems obvious.

Ricochet might have been slightly bettable when he hit +400 earlier this week but at +250 it’s a pass. That one is the opener I believe and it’s hard to see Logan Paul losing to him anyway with his star power, unless it is to lead to something else.

Gunther vs Drew is a bit of a tighter one, but you gotta feel Gunther is holding the title for the record. WWE are on that kick at the moment.

Just because it’s always best to, I’m going to bet 1/4u on Charlotte at +185.

Seth vs Finn is really interesting with Seths back injury, and the potential involvement of Priest. I’m back and forth on this one. They might want Finn to have the title due to Judgment Day being a replacement for the Bloodline, and I like the idea story wise of Finn having the belt, while Priest has the briefcase. I’m actually going to go with 1/4u on Balor there as I feel they can rehab Seth, and that dynamic of Finn with the belt would make things more interesting.

Reigns retains I expect as the plans still seem to be him vs Cody I guess.
